Children are our future!
We believe that this project will give children the opportunity to forget the horrors of war, make new acquaintances and expand their outlook on life.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
To create a safe and supportive environment for the physical, psychological and social recovery of children who have experienced traumatic events due to military conflicts. Our goal is to give these children the opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Carpathian Mountains and receive the necessary support for their physical and emotional recovery, feel safe, and enjoy a peaceful and friendly atmosphere.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A rehabilitation camp located in the Carpathian Mountains, where children can stay and recover under the supervision of qualified specialists and against the backdrop of a beautiful mountain landscape.
OUR EXPERIENCE
A successful summer health camp project „ROTARY . CHILDREN . FUTURE“
in the summer of 2023, executed jointly by Ukrainian Rotary Club Rakhiv – Center of Europe and German Rotary Club Lahr.
PROGRAM OF EVENTS
– archery and crossbow shooting
– pottery and blacksmithing
– program of regenerative exercises
– art
– daily swimming under the supervision of instructors
– a hike to Hoverla, the highest peak in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains
– Excursion to Pertsiv mountain valley
BUDGET
The price of camping includes:
– cognitive education program;
– qualified specialists;
– full board accommodation (2-3 people in a room);
– transportation;
– excursions;
– learning English;
– animation support;
– accompaniment of a psychologist.
DETAIL
– For one person per day – $45
– One camp lasts 10 days
– For 1 child, 10 days of camping – $450
SUMMARY
– Planned – 3 camps, each lasting 10 days
– The project is designed for 100 children
– For 100 children, 30 days of camping – Total Budget $45,000
